Queen Chrysalis by Xotri Queen Chrysalis by Xotri
Here is my Queen crysalis design from MLP: FIM.
:: optional :: the wings could be attached to the waist belt (or you could make the wings as a bow on the belt)

Aww ^^ How sweet :D First, I love the expression she's making, with that adorable wink ^^ Next, you did a splendid job on her adorable eyes; silky hair; and marvelous wings. Lastly, you've given her such a fitting dress

You should make more of these humanizations. They're pretty good.

Will it be okay if my friend could costly this in a upcoming con coming in 2015.
If so I would also like to make some alterations to the dress. Such as making it shorter for the sake of walking around the Con.
Thank-u so much!
( I'm going as fluffle puff and she's going as well this.)

Sure! All I ask is credit for the original design, and photos! (I'd love to see what you do with it!) If you want to shorten it to make it easier to walk around in then you can gather it at the sides underneath the top drape (with all the holes and tears), and you have the option if you want to leave the top drape longer in the back like a train! Just some options there. If you have any questions or get stuck on anything then feel free to send me a PM! Good luck! :)

Could U send me a note with the advice, steps, and Materials needed to make the cosplay.
My freind is doing this with my help.
She is really new just starting out and I would like for her to know how to make it with the help of others before she can do a cosplay on her own.
I'm mentoring her right now.
So it would be such a blessing to have your advice in teacher my freind.

This is an amazing concept, I hope you don't mind that some of this has inspired some ideas for details on my Chrysalis cosplay concept as well. I'm still working on a final concept and decided to look at other cosplays for some ideas. And may I ask what you are going to try and make your wings from?

Thank you!! I don't mind at all! There are times where I look at other cosplay ideas for some inspiration as well! xD
What I had in mind for the wings was using a plasticy/ netting type of material that you can pick up at a fabric store; I can't quite remember what it was called? (I just know that it's mainly used for hats and such) cpvered in a nice shiny fabric (but not too shiny), and that will be draped with a nice clear transparent fabric. So about 2-3 layers. You could just put a nice transparent fabric that's shiny if that's more convenient since you can still see through her wings regardless of all the holes. I also had in mind that the wings could also be clipped onto the back of the belt. I hope this helps! :)
