The Mirror

The mirror that you see there,
Is something you should beware.
When you stand right there to take a peek,You'll only see what you seek.

For what truly lies has been unseen,
The "you" you see, you're never there.
And in your dreams they call to you
And all you see is a "reflection" of you.

A stare down between your "shadow", that's grinning with laughter,
As you run hoping to be faster.
But if it catches you, it'll kill without a thought.
For that mirror leads to a world of dark shadows.
"Another" person goes missing, unsolved.
